What We Value

Growth Over Perfection

We believe dance is about progress — not perfection. Every dancer starts somewhere, and every dancer grows at their own pace. We celebrate effort, resilience, and the courage to try again. Therefore, we have specific levels with requirements to make sure your child can grow as a dancer and build on their skills.

Confidence That Lasts

Our goal isn’t just strong dancers — it’s strong humans. We want every child to leave class standing taller, believing in themselves, and knowing they are capable of hard things.

Work Ethic & Discipline

Work ethic is powerful. We teach our dancers to show up prepared, respect the process, and push past what they thought was their limit.

Team Over Ego

Dance is a team sport. We celebrate each other’s wins, lift each other up, and create an environment where kindness matters more than competition.

Comparison Steals Confidence

Every dancer’s journey looks different. When you focus on your own growth, that’s when real progress happens.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1995 — two little girls who simply loved to dance. What started as childhood friendship quickly became a lifelong bond built inside the walls of a dance studio. Those years shaped not only who they were as dancers, but who they would become as leaders.

Calynne has taught all styles and ages of dance for over 20 years and is known for some of the most creative and technically challenging choreography in the area. She is certified through Dance Teachers of America, having traveled to Las Vegas to complete three levels of intensive training taught by some of the most respected dance educators in the world. After stepping away for a season, Calynne has recently come out of retirement with a renewed passion to inspire the next generation of dancers.

Megan has also taught for many years and has recently stepped back into the studio with fresh energy and vision. Deeply involved in the competitive dance world, she brings leadership, dedication, and heart to everything she does. In addition to her dance background, Megan currently runs multiple successful businesses, giving her strong organizational skills, structure, and vision that will help our studio thrive. She is not only a strong teacher, but a powerful role model and steady leader for the dancers and families who walk through our doors.

As children, we remember begging our dance teacher to open her own studio — because all we wanted was a place to dance, grow, and belong. We spent years helping Dicey Higgins build and accomplish her dream studio. In a true full-circle moment, we now feel called to do the same.

Our mission is to carry on Dicey’s legacy by creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. We are committed to teaching discipline, respect, confidence, and above all, a deep love for dance. This studio is more than a building. It’s a home. It’s a legacy. It’s the next chapter.
